Join SCORE for this educational 5-part series on simple steps to creating your own business!

Week 5: Sources of Capital for Entrepreneurs

This final session will focus on how to gain access to capital for your small business, including an overview of the loan application process, and what lenders typically look for.  

It will conclude with a discussion and Q&A session with several start-up business entrepreneurs.

About the Presenters

Joe McCaffrey is a Business Advisor with Community Investment Corporation, which is a not-for-profit, economic development lender, licensed by the Small Business Administration to administer their lending programs. Joe is also a certified business mentor and subject matter expert in commercial real estate and small business financing with Fairfield County SCORE.

Bill Mollica is a 29 year career as a large commercial national/global accounts casualty insurance broker, he excelled at creating and delivering training programs for insurance professionals on workers compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and excess/umbrella liability. All requiring creative problem-solving and detailed negotiation skills. Bill is a teacher, mentor, and coach.
