Join us and learn the secrets of Flash Fiction and Flash Memoir and how mastering them can strengthen your longer works of writing. We’ll also look at getting the most impact from dialogue and subtext.

This program is part of a three part series, please join us for Capturing Creativity on August 2nd and Elevating your Writing on August 16th. 

About the Presenter

Julia Strayer has stories in Glimmer Train, Kenyon Review online, Cincinnati Review, Post Road, Mid-American Review, and others, including The Best Small Fictions anthology. She recently won the 2022 New Ohio Review Fiction Contest and is a finalist in the 2022 CRAFT First Chapters contest for her novel in progress. She is a submissions editor for SmokeLong Quarterly and teaches creative writing at New York University.
