Now is the time to closely review and understand your 2022 tax return and plan ahead for your 2023 taxes. In this program Joseph D’Agostin, Darien Library Tax Aide volunteer and former IRS tax employee, will explain the 1040 form in great detail.

- schedules 1, 2, 3, A, B, C, D, E
- income documents from financial institutions
- different tax brackets
- standard vs. itemized deductions
- earned income credit
- non-reportable transactions
- why you should review every single direct deposit
About the Presenter
Joseph R. D’Agostin retired from the IRS in 2008. He is an Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University and Manhattanville College. He is a long-time volunteer for Tax Aide at Darien Library.
