Event Details

Easily recognized through their iconic portraits, the Tudors established themselves as the rulers of Britain in a time of turmoil and upheaval with the help of artists from the continent.

Please join Page Knox for a discussion of the artists of the Tudor Court, including Florentine sculptors, German painters, Flemish weavers and exceptional British goldsmiths, armorers, printers and more, who transformed the arts in England during the era of the dynasty (1485-1603) and developed a uniquely Tudor Renaissance style.
