Gentle Yoga is for anyone who wants to experience a mindful yoga flow that invites you to slow down and move at a steady pace while lingering in poses that feel comfortable and are pain free. The flow is steady as we attune to the breath, body & mind. Gentle Yoga relaxes the nervous system and can improve sleep and digestion. A regular practice will increase strength, balance and flexibility.
Participants may bring their own yoga mat and/or a large towel.
About the Presenter
Monica Keady is a registered yoga teacher and meditation guide certified in the Kripalu tradition - the yoga of compassion. As a life-long practitioner of yoga, Monica appreciates the serenity and resilience that yoga and meditation provide. Her mission is to share yoga so that others may experience the gifts of a regular practice. Monica leads mindful movement including Slow & Gentle Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Meditation.
