Serendipity Chorale

Led by Gigi Van Dyke, the Serendipity Chorale has been singing for 48 years!

Music is the common denominator for this group of men and women of diverse backgrounds from across the Fairfield County area. The chorale has sung with Andy Williams and Pete Seeger; they have performed at the Levitt Pavilion and at the Norwalk Concert Hall. However, their main mission is to bring the joy of song to seniors and to support community events.

Serendipity’s repertoire comes from the American songbook with music of the 30s, 40s and 50s, along with Broadway standards, holiday favorites, patriotic tunes, and spirituals and gospel. They will share new and old favorites from Broadway to Cohen and Gershwin along with African American spirituals and will feature professional baritone Edward Pleasant.
