Twice a month, learn something new about a fascinating science topic chosen and presented by one of our very own DHS Science Honor Society students. This week's topics will cover "The Gut Microbiome + Health Implications" and "Alcohol"

About the Presenters

Hi I'm Addy Hills and I am a junior at DHS. Last year I took Honors Chemistry and I am currently taking AP Biology. I've been in ASR for two years now and I do research on finding therapeutic methods to alleviate chronic pain via the gut-brain-axis. I'm passionate about psych and neuro and I hope I explore social sciences as well as the gut microbiome in the future. I'm excited to share my passion through my presentation!

Hi! My name is Kieran Graseck, and I am a junior at Darien High School. I am taking AP Biology and plan on taking AP Physics my senior year. I am really passionate about climate biology and attended a youth summit about climate biology at the Harvard C-Chan school this past summer. I'm excited to be able to share and present!
