About the Presenters

This is Nico Johnston, the most incredible 12th grader Darien High School has ever seen and possibly the coolest person ever to walk the Earth. I've had a jolly good time learning about science throughout my schooling career, and I am taking AP Physics C: Mechanics with our one and only Mr. Record (gulp)! I love learning about science's wackiest concepts, such as bizarre objects lurking in the depths of space or quantum theories that make me rethink my existence. I currently plan on pursuing a major in Environmental Engineering. I am over the moon to impart knowledge upon whoever lies in my audience at the Darien Library!

Hi! My name is Charlotte Palen, and I am currently a Senior at Darien High School. This year I am taking AP Biology and I took AP Environmental Science last year where I learned all about the world in which we live in. I'm very interested in the ocean and what life goes on beneath the surface, and I am super excited to share with you my knowledge about these fields of science at the library!
