About the Presenters

Hi! My name is Liz Sonnenblick and I am a senior at Darien High School. I am currently taking AP Biology, but have enjoyed taking Chemistry and Physics during past years. I am thrilled to be a part of the SNHS Library Lectures group. My hobbies outside of academics include gardening—this year I tried watermelons—and my job at Getner Barn in Norwalk, where I work with horses. I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for science with the Darien Community at the Library!

Hi! My name is Katie Cavolo and I am currently a senior at Darien High School. I took AP Environmental Science my junior and am currently enrolled in AP Biology. I love science because it satiates my curisoity about the world around me and gives me greater understanding of life. In particular, I love evolutionary biology, paleontology, and neoroscience. I am very excited that this is the second year that I will be able to share my love of science with the community at the Darien Library!
