Event Details

Join ever popular Master Florist, Trish O’Sullivan, and immerse yourself in her presentation and floral demonstration of Rose Park: Jane Austen Inspired Floral Design.

Jane Austen, the celebrated English novelist, had a garden that bloomed with flowers in a soft color palette, along with flowering shrubs and herbs.  Her beloved roses, however, took center stage. The secret beauty of both a rose and Miss Austen’s novels is they are lushly romantic and have remained cherished for centuries.  For this demonstration, Trish will take creative floral design inspiration from Jane Austen’s Regency era garden. This fun floral workshop will include the step-by-step process of taping a grid, the placement of each rose, herb and botanical to ensure do-it-yourself floral design success. Learn the tips and tricks of the trade for keeping roses looking fresh and long lasting without chemicals or floral foam.

The Rose Park arrangement will be given away at end of program!
