From "the pitch" to "the option", development and production, how does a writer get their book on the big screen or, on the small (streaming) screen? Join best-selling author, Carola Lovering, in conversation with Darien resident and long-time friend and colleague Paige Kyle as they discuss this and Carola's book, Tell Me Lies, which has been turned into an intoxicating television drama series available on Hulu. The book is an addictive, thrilling coming-of-age story about toxic love, betrayal and cutthroat ambition.  The series on Hulu has the word binge written all over it.  Come see what all the fuss is about!

About the Presenters:

Carola Lovering is the author of the novels Tell Me Lies, Too Good to Be True and Can’t Look Away. She is a graduate of Colorado College, and her work has appeared in New York Magazine (The Cut), Marie Claire, W Magazine, National Geographic, Outside, and Yoga Journal, among other publications. Her novel, Tell Me Lies, has been adapted into a television series for Hulu. She lives in Darien with her husband and two children.

An avid reader, Paige Kyle is a Connecticut native and has lived in Darien for over four years with her husband and two young children. She currently works in partner recruiting at McKinsey & Company after a career in finance. She is an active volunteer in Darien and is on numerous committees for the betterment of the community.
