Please note: this program is for experienced Mah Jongg players. You must have full knowledge and familiarity with the rules of American Mah Jongg. If you know your craks, bams and dots, it's for you!

Master the new 2025 card in this fun one-time session for anyone who has played Mah Jongg previously.  Local expert Donna Holt will be on hand to assist with all facets of gameplay, from basic rules to etiquette to strategy. She will give players a breakdown of the new 2025 Mah Jongg card, its key updates and offer tips for beginners and more advanced players. She will guide players to learn how to adjust strategy to incorporate the updated hands.

Players must bring their new 2025 Mah Jongg card to the class.

Please note: this registered program gives priority to Darien residents, those employed full-time in Darien, or non-residents who are contributors to the Darien Library Annual Campaign at the $450 level or above. Non-residents can sign up for this registered program if any spaces are available on the day before the program date.

About the Instructor

Popular instructor and longtime Darien resident Donna Holt teaches both learn to play and guided play strategy classes at many local organizations, libraries and clubs throughout Fairfield County.
