Event Details

Find out what it takes to publish a children's book from local artist and author, Lisa Thorén! Lisa, whose new heartwarming children's book, The Love of a Dog, co-written with her daughter Lindsay, was recently published with rave reviews.

Lisa will explain book publishing basics, from outlining a short story, making a book "dummy," to producing a storyboard on a "grid." Lisa will offer resources on finding a suitable publisher or how to go the "self-publishing" route.
