In this animated immigrant tale (no pun intended), a family of mice from Russia are celebrating Hanukkah when they are attacked by cats forcing them to flee, and move to America by boat. During a terrible storm, one of the mice, Fievel Mousekewitz, is thrown overboard and feared dead by his family. He is saved by a floating bottle and arrives in New York. Follow his adventures as he tries to find his lost family, and in the meantime, meets new friends from many parts of the world, all of them trying their hardest to adapt to their new home in America.
