Families are invited to celebrate the annual birthday of the Library and honor our generous donor, Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Join us for a musical performance and storytime from our favorite musicians, Kate and Jake Goldbas, followed by some colorful crafts and cupcakes!
Children will be invited to fill out bookplates that will be placed in brand new books in the Children's Library, as a gift from the McGraw Foundation.
No registration required. Families welcome!
About the Performers
Kate Goldbas, an opera singer and teaching artist, has taught, curated and implemented early childhood programming for The Harvard Club, The Diller-Quaile School of Music and Mozart for Munchkins. Kate is the Early Learning Center music teacher for Miller-Driscoll.
Jake Goldbas is the Artistic Director of Programs for The Louis Armstrong House Museum and Director of Education Programs for The Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College. Jake Goldbas held the drum chair for the Broadway Show of Dear Evan Hansen for 5 years.
