Guatemalan Worry Dolls

Worry dolls, or muñecas quitapenas, come from the Mayan areas of Guatemala and Mexico. According to legend, placing these tiny dolls under an anxious child's pillow will take their worries away. We will learn more about the origin of worry dolls before creating some of our own to take home.
