Join us for a computer class for Seniors ages 60+ This class will feature basic instruction on internet browsing. You will practice using different internet browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox) for keyword searching, and learn best practices for reading and navigating web pages efficiently and safely.

What you will learn:

  • How to open a web browser and navigate to specific web sites
  • How to recognize when there is a link to another page
  • How to open additional web tabs, minimize, maximize and close
  • Best ways to use the mouse and keyboard for scrolling up and down a page
  • Internet safety tips (notice URL address’ and domain names, recognize a secure site, avoid malware)
  • How to use File Explorer
  • Beginners welcome
