It may not be surprising that February is American Heart Month. Join Darien Library, in conjunction with Stamford Health, for an important presentation by Dr. Michael Coady, Chief of Cardiac Surgery and Co-Director of Stamford Health's Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Coady will talk about new technologies and treatment in cardiovascular care, surgery, and rehabilitation. Bring yourself, bring your valentine, for a presentation that will help you to be your healthiest heart self in 2023!

About the Presenter

Dr. Michael Coady is chief of cardiac surgery and co-director of the Heart and Vascular Institute at Stamford Health. He received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine, his master of business administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his master of public health from Yale University School of Public Health.  His interests involve quality measures and outcomes in patients with cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Coady is also a reviewer for the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and Circulation
