New England Ballet Theater will introduce beginner's ballet concept and movement to children in 1st and 2nd grade.
The dance teacher will give a brief lesson on the history of ballet and transition into learning some basic exercises that encourage creative thinking and kinesthetic awareness. They will also touch upon how to be an audience member and the relationship between music and movement.
New England Ballet Theater was founded by two professional dancers in January of 2020 with a shared passion for ballet and the community. Their vision is to create a company that reflects the community and is a vital part of the arts sector in the Greater Hartford region.
