Looking  for something local to do this summer? Check this out!

Did you know that Connecticut has a Stonehenge, a safari park, and the country's smallest Native American reservation? Greenwich author Stasha Healy scoured the state and discovered 84 fascinating places and stories that she collected in her book, Secret Connecticut: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure.

Stasha will begin her illustrated in-person presentation with little-known stories about Fairfield County, and will then surprise you with true tales from other parts of the state. You’ll find out about the Connecticut residents who inspired the character of Indiana Jones, who was technically president before George Washington, and who flew before the Wright Brothers. Learn about all of this and more at this engaging, family-friendly presentation. These little-known tales about the state will make even the most well-informed lifelong resident say, “I didn’t know that!”
