Darien Library and Barrett Bookstore welcome Barbara Costello and Anna Gass to Darien Library.

Discover the internet sensation that is "Babs"!  Barbara Costello, known online as "Babs," will be in conversation with chef and cookbook author, Anna Gass, to talk holiday traditions and her debut cookbook, Celebrate with Babs.

As TikTok and Instagram's adopted grandmother, Babs knows that food traditions are at the heart of every season, and in Celebrate with Babs, she invites readers into her own family’s favorites. In her debut cookbook you’ll find a smorgasbord of tattered, torn, and well-loved recipes, passed down from family and friends, and specially curated from her personal wooden recipe box to make and share with your family and friends. Babs’ family stories will tug at your heartstrings, the recipes will delight your taste buds, and the cookbook will inspire connections with loved ones for generations. Celebrate with Babs has menus for festive moments throughout the year, and she also shares the holiday traditions her family has grown to love.  Why not elevate all of life’s gatherings into memorable occasions the "Babs" way?
